Numark rolls out iDJ mixing console for iPod

The iDJ (11.3" x 11.5" x 2.6"), a two-channel mixer enables iPod owners to seamlessly integrate portable music libraries with other music and sound, transforming their iPod into a source playback device. It sports two universal iPod docking stations which will accept all model iPods with a dock connector and charge them while connected, features large iPod navigation controls, offers a three-band EQ with gain control on both channels, integrates a dedicated microphone input with tone/level control and includes phono/line inputs for adding additional devices on both channels.

USB connectivity (Mac and PC) is also offered and provides music-loading base functionality; iPod recording capabilities are supported for voice memos. The iDJ also features a turntable spindle receptacle that allows placement on a turntable, all this combined with zero tolerance precision switches/knobs for a tight, precise feel. I/O includes a 1/4" mic input, 1/4" and 1/8" stereo headphone outputs, two stereo line (RCA) inputs with phono-preamp switch and ground lugs.
