Kensington unveils new iPod accessories
The sx2000 Speakers for iPod offer a rear-mounted 3.5mm jack, allowing users to use the speakers with older iPod models or other audio devices. The device measures 16.2 x 7.2 x 3.9-inches, and houses 1/2-inch thick speakers behind a rectangular grey-mesh screen.
The Transporter for iPod shuffle (£10) measures 4 x 2.7 x 1-cm, and consists of a belt-clip, as well as a carabineer-style clip that can plug into an iPod shuffle using its USB port. Both clips require users to depress small buttons on one side of the devices in order to unclip the iPod, reducing the chance of accidental damage.
Kensington's new iPod dock supports all iPod models with a color screen for TV usage, and ships with an audio/video cable as well as an RF remote control. The remove offers play/pause, volume up/down, skip/fast forward, and skip back/rewind functionality, as well as the ability to scroll up and down through playlists or navigate through menus.
