Marmot unveils iGlove Multi for iPod

Marmot today revealed the iGlove Multi, a set of winter gloves that overcomes the problem of controlling an iPod's touch-sensitive clickwheel through the material, negating the need for wearers to remove their protective gear to operate an iPod in freezing weather. Most winter gloves dull the responsiveness or negate it entirely when operating portable media players, but the tips of both the index finger and thumb on each iGlove are made of a proprietary Playpoint material that Marmot says increases contact with the wheel, allowing wearers to scroll through menus without exposing their hands to freezing temperatures, according to Electronista. The gloves also feature a silicon printing on the inside to steady the grip on the iPod, and are wearable beneath larger gloves due to their thin profile. MPairs of the iGlove Multi are priced at $35 in sizes from small to extra large.
