June 29th shopping appointments cancelled?
Apple has reportedly cancelled at least one Personal Shopping appointment for June 29th -- the chosen date that its highly-anticipted iPhone is scheduled to hit shelves at 6:00 p.m. local time. A ZDNet blogger who made a Personal Shopping appointment on what AT&T is predicting to be the largest commercial product launch in the history of electronics received a phone call from the local Apple store to reschedule his appointment, following earlier personalized email notifications confirming the appointment.
"No reason was given," the blogger wrote, who is urging all Apple customers with Personal Shopping appointments on June 29th to call their local Apple store for confirmation. The decision to cancel Personal Shopping appointments for the 29th is rumored to have been made at the corporate level, and phone calls to the Apple retail store that cancelled the appointment were not returned, according to ZDNet.

Yep, yep. Must have been the same ZDNet blogger.
Apparently he didn't watch at the WWDC conf and he didn't heard the "introduction" was scheduled at 6pm..
From that blog: "Update: It turns out that iPhone won’t be available for sale until 6 p.m. local time on the 29th. So my 11 a.m. appointment wouldn’t have worked anyway."
This is my quote "Too much ado for nothing"
