22Moo has unveiled a new range of video eyewear and Bluetooth accessories for Apple's iPod and iPhone that includes a pair of sub-$200 35-inch video glasses, a 3D supported portable DVD player with video glasses, Star-Trek-inspired high resolution video eyewear, and an A2DP dongle bundle with a stereo Bluetooth headset for iPod and iPhone owners. The Argo MP/3G-2 is a new type of compact personal display that uses a unique optical system to offer the equivalent of a 35-inch screen at a six foot distance, boasting 0.3 megapixels (320 x 240) of resolution designed to compliment a video iPod or Microsoft Zune with a direct connection. The device works with numerous other gadgets that support an AV output, including game consoles like the Sony PlayStation and Microsoft Xbox or the Nintendo Wii. The MP/3G-2 is lightweight, and features a detachable light shield as well as earphones. 22Moo's Argo MP/3G-2 eyewear is priced at $200.
22Moo's Eyeshot F320B ($300) is a compact and lightweight portable set of eyeglasses that provides an OLED 37-inch virtual screen at a 2-meter distance for use with portable private theaters or as a big screen for console games.
The SPV922 ($350) is designed as stylish video eyewear with a high resolution virtual 48-inch screen that features a small frame with a detachable soft cover to block out all external lighting.
The company is also offering its Argo Cinema 2 ($550), a new type of compact personal display that uses a unique optical system to provide the image equvalient of viewing a 48-inch screen at a 6-foot distance. The glasses come with a purpose-built portable DVD player and are designed to work with UMPC's, as well as Mac or PC computers and video-capable portable media players -- like Apple's video iPod. 22Moo's Argo Cinema 2 caters to any device that supports either VGA or AV outputs, including game consoles. 3D Stereoscopic viewing and gaming complements the included DVD player's Dolby Surround-sound that supports direct playback of 3D Field Sequential DVDs.
Eyeshot F1440B ($750) features two SVGA resolution OLED "MicroDisplays" to deliver fluid full-motion video in more than 16.7 million colors. The high-end video glasses includes specially developed optics that produce a bright, crisp image equivalent to an 80-inch virtual screen from 6-feet away. Independent focus adjustments for each eye help users achieve a clear image that is calibrated to individual needs, and the glasses support 3D Stereoscopic viewing as its previously mentioned Argo PC/3D and Cinema siblings.
22Moo's YelloMosquito division is offering a half price shipping promotion on international orders of its EVG230, Argo DVD/TV, and Argo PC/3D eyewear with free shipping for Australian customers.
The company also announced the newly established 8Bananas Bluetooth accessories division, and says it will soon begin taking pre-orders for its "Made for iPod" Bluetooth A2DP dongle and Bluetooth Stereo headsets for iPod and iPhone owners.
