Thanks for putting it up there. As it is, I stream to all computers using iTunes on my network, so all my roommates/coworkers (depending onthe time of day) have access to days of video, whether it's movie or tv shows, along with music.

Wish I could drop the money on an AppleTV myself, since we're all set up for it, but first I'd have to buy that HD Tv to connect to it.

Yes, that's right, I'm not happy with the apple TV because there's no way to hook up to a regular tv out there, despite all the content. Aple doesnt even go the distance to sell a converter to allow its connections to transfer to analogue signal. Until someone makes a cheap solution, or drops the cash on me to buy a compatible HD tv, no dice.

Intel MacMini should be..

the real AppleTV. Add HDMI, optical audio, a tuner and a 500GB drive to the MacMini and it would be fantastic. I'd be willing to pay about $800 with no complaints.

I can hardly wait to see what the next AppleTV has in store, but most likely it will be a closed system and only good for hackers to modify.
