Hordes of Orcs 'tower defense' game released

Freeverse today released Hordes of Orcs, a new 3D 'tower defense' strategy game featuring wave after wave of successively stronger orcs. Players strive to defend a human village from hungry orcs using walls and lethal towers as they emanate from what the elders call "The Glowing Portal of Really Bad Things That We Should Have Bricked-Up a Long Time Ago." The game is priced at $25, and requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later.

A variety of towers offer strengths and weaknesses at varying prices, and each tower is upgradeable to do more damage or reach farther. Four spells allow players to send selected orcs back to the starting portal, slow them down for a short time, bait them with a gift basket as a distraction, and weaken them to increase vulnerability to tower attacks.

The game features five different variations which include Open Warfare, Capture the Flag, Maze Defense, and more.

This seems to be trying a bit too hard to look like the Warcraft series of games. I guess it's a parody mini-game? Seems a bit close to the line.
