Sprint pulls LG Rumor due to demand, not bugs
Sprint has pulled its LG Rumor messaging phone from shelves due to sheer demand and not technical flaws, the company announced on Wednesday. The carrier has acknowledged a problem with the slider phone which allowed users to accidentally wipe the phone's firmware clear through a debugging code but says it is an isolated incident; most models have not been affected and have already received a fix, Sprint says.
Instead, the unavailability is reportedly the result of underestimating demand for the phone, which garnered attention on launch in October for offering a full keyboard and special messaging features below the price of most smartphones. The provider has not said when it expects the Rumor to be readily available once again but promises that it will increase supplies of the phone "soon" online and in retail shops.

Seriously, if it ain't GSM, it's a waste of time IMO.
But, what do I care? I don't have either.
Gosh, I didn't know that, you would think they would have realised that and changed their name - still I suppose it means something quite pithy in Korean...
