Live Freeverse MWSF feed, software updates

Freeverse has set up a live camera-feed from the Macworld Expo show floor that displays constantly updated images of its booth for the remainder of the show. The feed is powered by Freeverse's Periscope webcam software, which lets users capture activity in front of a Mac's iSight camera and save or share that image simply and automatically. The software supports sending real-time images to an email address, a .Mac Web page, or an FTP site.

Freeverse has also announced the latest update to Hordes of Orcs, its tower-defense game for Mac OS X that features new gameplay modes and maps alongside performance improvements. A new 'Gem Drop' mode challenges players to use defenses to prevent orcs from leaving with precious gems that fall from the sky, while an 'Endless' mode ensures that orcs never stop coming and that they continue to grow in strength with each passing wave.

New maps include '2nd Chances' and 'Crossover,' according to Freeverse, and the update features camera rotation.
