Apple unveils graphics card, WebObjects updates

Accompanying the Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.2 and Tiger security updates earlier today, Apple also unveiled new versions of Leopard graphics drivers, and Web Objects 5.4.1. The new graphics update advertises that improves the stability and compatibility with the Mac OS. The update is available from Apple as a free download, both through Software Update and the company's website, and requires 10.5.2 to be installed.

WebObjects, Apple's suite of tools and frameworks for developers, has received several bug fixes. The update corrects problems that exist in the web services serialization, deployment tools, and database compatibility, among others. WebObjects 5.4.1 requires 10.5 Leopard to be installed.

Does this mean I can put the new graphics card in a last gen MacPro? Or is that still not possible?

not necessarily true. A firmware update is a graphics card update. A driver update is well, a driver update.
