Orange offers iPod touch with business plans

Orange iPod touch bonus

French cellular carrier Orange has devised a unique incentive to lure people into its business plans. Customers signing up for the 18-month Solo, Venture or Momentum plans during February will receive an 8GB iPod touch, so long as the player remains in stock. Plans must also be valued at €46 or higher though, and can only be accepted by single subscribers or leaders on sharer plans. Existing Orange customers must talk with an in-store representative about eligibility.

The offer may mark deeper ties between Apple and Orange, the latter being one of the few carriers in the world selling the iPhone. Sales began in late November of last year, and have so far reached over 90,000, though the company had been hoping to hit 100,000 by the beginning of 2008. The end target for the year is currently between 400,000 and 500,000 iPhones.

In the UK Orange have been giving away iPods on plans, and right now they are giving away Wii's - they have been for months so I should image they've done rather well and now those incentives are spreading to other regions.

But I commend you on the various leaps and links you made in your article.
