iBank 3 adds iPhone, Leopard support, more
IGG Software today released iBank 3, a major update to its financial management application, adding support for the iPhone and Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard technologies. iBank for iPhone is a web-based iPhone application that allows users to enter transactions on their iPhone, and through .Mac, sync them to the desktop application on their home computer. IGG Software is selling iBank 3 through its website for $60, while current users can upgrade for $30.
In addition to the iPhone web application, iBank 3 also takes advantage Core Animation to animate its redesigned interface, and Cover Flow allows users to flip through transactions. Interactive graphs assemble themselves in a graphically rich manner as the user inputs transactions, and double-clicking a pie wedge reveals details on the reverse side.
iBank 3 allows users to download transactions directly using OFX. If the standard isn't supported, iBank includes an integrated web browser that allows you to download transaction history directly into the application.
Users can take pictures of receipts of other items, assigning them to transactions to visualize spending.
In addition, iBank 3 includes Smart portolios, and a new loan management module. The new version also improves current features such as graphs, reports, smart accounts, check printing, and drag-and-drop capabilities.
