ReceiptWallet 2.0 adds cataloging

GGT Enterprises has announced the release of ReceiptWallet 2.0, an upgrade to the company's receipt and document management application for Mac OS X. This release adds new features for cataloging non-receipt documents, an updated interface, support for on-the-road document scanning via Apple's iSight camera and the ability to organize documents into multiple libraries that can be tracked separately. With ReceiptWallet, paper receipts and documents can be scanned from any TWAIN-compatible scanner. Web or email-based receipts can be saved as PDF files from any Mac application and automatically sent to ReceiptWallet using the Print command. In addition, ReceiptWallet has support for the popular Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner.

The new release also integrates the functionality of DocumentWallet allowing users to create multiple libraries to hold receipts and documents. For instance a user can have one library for business receipts and a separate library for home receipts. Itadds a CoverFlow-style view for Mac OS X 10.5 "Leopard" that allows users to flip through electronic receipts just like one would with actual paper receipts.

ReceiptWallet 2.0 is available immediately for $40 or as a fully-functional 21-day trial. Version 2.0 is a free upgrade for all owners of ReceiptWallet 1.x and its sister product, DocumentWallet 1.x, which it replaces. ReceiptWallet is a Universal application that runs natively on both Intel and PowerPC systems running Mac OS X 10.4.11 or later.
