Why is it that apple inundates their users with all this information??? We don't need to know what the update is for, just the fact that there's an update is enough. But having to read through that entire change list is just a waste of time.

No, I need to know what the changes are, and feel a palpable sense of relief if some-bug-or-other is fixed, or the feeling of bonus value if something is added.

Not for Classic?

I'm not getting the option to upgrade and my iPod software is 1.1.3.

And the Classic is still buggy with 1.1.3 so I was hoping this would fix some things.

As far as I know, the Classic is the "5th generation iPod", is it not?
