Forum roundup: MacNN forum goers have compiled a list of Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard tips and tricks. The list includes adding Bluetooth devices, customizing the 3D dock, enabling double-finger right clicks on MacBook computers, among others. Some users have also contributed tips for several Apple applications, such as enabling debugging and the tab bar in Safari, in addition to several other hints about Mac OS X services such as Dashboard.
Another forum topic lists several users preferred top five shareware and freeware applications. The recommendations range from FTP and other file transfer applications, to productivity and utility software, as well as several games or pastime-related software.
One user inquires about others' preference on color of MacBook, between the white and black model, as well as users' reasons why they chose that model. Some prefer the white model, due to its statement as an obvious Apple product, while others prefer the luxurious look of the "BlackBook".
Several forum users are gathering to exchange information on wireless network channels, citing the need to stand out from several generic networks in their respective areas.
Forum veteran Eug is asking users thoughts on what wireless standards Apple would likely support with the highly desired 3G-based iPhone, rumored to be due sometime this year.
