Apple deals: $100 2G iPod nano, Santa Rosa MBP
Apple has second-generation iPod Nanos and several versions of the Santa Rosa-powered MacBook Pros on clearance in the online store. The silver 2GB iPod nano can store upwards of 500 songs, and is capable of displaying pictures, but not video content, as is the case with the third generation Nano. The iPod nanos come with Apple earphones and a USB dock cable, and are currently available from the online store for $100.
All three Santa Rosa model MacBook Pros are available. The 2.2GHz 15-inch model features 2GB of memory, 120GB of hard drive space, and an Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT with 128MB of memory, selling for $1,700. The 2.4GHz model, which adds 40GB of hard drive space and 128MB of graphics memory on top of the entry model, is available for $1,900.
Lastly, the 17-inch version is also available, featuring similar specifications to the high-end 15-inch model, features the standard resolution screen, selling for $2,500.
