Macminicolo moves Time Capsule backup offsite
Las Vegas-based hosting company Macminicolo is offering an unusual new service, intended to provide extra redundancy for Mac users. Called Transport, it involves hosting a user's Time Capsule drive in the company's data center, where it is protected from disasters that might otherwise affect a customer's home or office. While a Capsule can be used for remote Time Machine backup, it can also be used for more traditional backup, or alternately as a file server.
Users retain ownership of their Capsule, and can either send in their own drive, or have Macminicolo buy a 500GB model for $299 or a 1TB model for $499. Hosting costs a minimum of $29 per month after a $25 setup fee, with options for expanded bandwidth caps and remote power resets. All users get a single static IP.

Encryption
Until Time Machine supports encryption, I wouldn't be comfortable for someone to host my Time Capsule!Also, wouldn't there be a rather large amount of radio power in their data room?!!
