AT&T online store leaks black iPhone? [U]

Further adding credence to the next generation iPhone having a black color option were enforced on Monday, as AT&T lists a selectable choice on its website. AppleInsider reveals that the company's online store features a model selection list, of which users have an option of choosing between iPhone and iPhone Black. While the menu adds a degree of authenticity to the rumor, the page still shows the current model iPhone.

Update: An AT&T spokesperson told MacNN that the heading was merely a placeholder for internal use, and that the issue is being corrected. "The reference to 'iPhone Black' was simply a temporary placeholder used over the weekend for a scheduled catalog update," wrote the representative. "It was meant to temporarily distinguish the various iPhone models-4GB, 8GB and 16GB-but was never reassigned. We're correcting the site now."

I mean Testudo....

Once again you have put your foot in your mouth which goes to show that even tho you post to EVERY story on here EVERY day... that you obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

It would also seem that you do not personally own an iPhone and unless you are senile have not every seen one in person.

The face on the front of the iPhone is black, but the back is silver or aluminum in color. The supposed new iPhone has a black backside.

Please refrain from speaking just to be heard, or in this case typing just to see your name "in bright lights".

Your 15 minutes were up a long time ago.

and if the "bootie" is black, would it be considered a "ghetto booty"? If you can make phone on the back side, would that make it "booty call"? and will people start referring to your phone as "bootylicious"?

OMG! Excuse me, for I didn't realize they were talking about the BACK of the iPhone! Oh, I am so so so sorry for having not owned an iPhone, nor apparently paid that much attention to the back of one to recognize it isn't black in the back, and that this is all about the back of the iphone. You are right, by asking an innocent question, I've put my foot in my mouth! Apparently even asking a question about an apple product is cause for being slammed.

Of course, I'm not sure what senility has to do with seeing one in person, nor why you need to rant on because I actually didn't know what this was talking about (could you point me to the place in the article where it discusses that the 'black' describes the 'back'). But, hey, I assume you're just looking for some reason to slam me, so, hey, whatever floats your boat.

For anyone who does not have an iPhone but wants to see one for context of the story, just go to the apple site...

You can probably assume that the black part will not get blacker. :)
