Microsoft ships Remote Desktop Client v2.0
Microsoft recently unveiled Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2, a major update to its Windows PC VNC connection software, allowing users to access an unlimited number of clients. Microsoft gave RDCC a visual overhaul, offering users a more familiar interface, and also included access to print servers from both Intel and PowerPC-based Macs. Remote Desktop Connection Client for Mac 2 is available from Microsoft's website for no charge.
Included in the new version are Microsoft's Error Reporting Tool and AutoUpdate programs, as well as a new help viewer to improve support options. Security has also been tightened through the use of Microsoft's Network Level Authentication method found in Windows Vista.
