DLO announces cases for Nano 4G, Touch 2G

DLO has announced new cases for the iPod nano 4G and Touch 2G. The new Action Jackets and Jam Jackets will ship for both the Nano and Touch, while a new HipCase folio has been crafted for the Nano. The original HipCase for the Touch 1G remains compatible with the 2G.

The Action Jacket is geared towards sports and exercise, and includes an integrated belt clip along with a removable, adjustable armband. The clip also attaches to clothing or backpacks, and the case features a clear window for viewing an iPod's screen. The Action Jacket is machine-washable, and fits biceps from nine to 20 inches. The Nano 4G (in black or black and pink) and Touch 2G (black only) versions are available now for $30.

DLO's Jam Jacket series features a silicone wrap-around case, with a screen protector and and a headphone management system that stores headphones in the back. The cases allow access to controls, the dock connector and headphone jack, but still provide edge and corner protection. The new Jackets will ship in October for $20.

The HipCase folio for the Nano 4G is a black leather case, with a padded flip-cover, hidden inner pocket, and leather-covered belt clip. The case features a fabric liner for scratch protection, and provides access to the headphone jack when closed. It will be available in October for $30.
