Edibles 1.3 adds enhanced food tracking options
Random Ideas has announced a new update to its food journaling application for the iPhone and iPod touch. Edibles allows users to track values important to observing a diet regimen, such as calories, carbohydrates and WeightWatchers points. Users are also capable of setting a "budget" for a value they are tracking, and then follow weekly and daily allowances based on this figure.
Foods can be entered into Edibles' database on the go, and once they are added they can easily be reused without a second entry. Version 1.3 adds a programmable calculator, food categories, automatic weekly unit rest days, and the display of unused units as a badge on the applications icon.
Edibles 1.3 is available at the App Store for $4.
