SwitchEasy RebelTouch case for Touch 2G

SwitchEasy has announced the release of RebelTouch, a protective case for the second generation iPod touch. Adaptive Dynamic Soft Polymer (ADSP) is used, claimed to be stronger and offer more UV protection than silicone but gentle on the surfaces of the Touch. UltraFrame Lexan is used to offer structural rigidity and easier slide into pockets. RebelTouch covers 60 percent of the iPod surface.

The company claims to have engineered the case in a way that the covered buttons still retain their tactility. SwitchEasy has included two anti-static screen guards, a microfiber wipe, dock adapter, video dock stand, connector protector, and 3.5mm headphone adapter with the kit. The RebelTouch case for iPod touch 2G is available in black or white colors from SwitchEasy for $25.

So i bought this case a couple of weeks ago thinking it would be "easy" to install and look clean. I was kind of surprised when i found a note inside the package saying "We have noted that some users may have issues with their sleep/wake button, due to incorrect installation. With your fingernail, pull the button cover towards you (away from the screen side) to realign the button cover with the button."

Due to incorrect installation ?? Do we need to be engineers to install a case properly ? I bite my nails so what do i do... The buttons are hard to use (sound and sleep/wake, the case is so tight that the hard layer crushed the soft layer and distorted it so i had to realign it 10 times before looking straight. I don't think it's worth the 35$, plus, it seems we users do it all wrong, it seems not to be a design problem....
