Feral to ship ToCA Race Driver 3 on Oct 24th
Feral Interactive says that Codemasters' ToCA Race Driver 3, previously released in 2006 for the PC and consoles, should finally ship in a Mac version on October 24th. The game covers 35 different types of racing, including GT, rally, off-road and oval, and is correspondingly said to have some 70 licensed cars, and 80 licensed tracks. A physics engine is claimed to deliver "authentic" handling for each car.
The game should additionally feature an online multiplayer mode, but any features unique to the Mac have not been announced. The PC version supports up to 12 people, and customizable rules, as well as the ability to race a full series or individual tracks. The Mac software will cost $50, and require a 1.8GHz Intel Mac with a 128MB graphics card, as well as a DVD drive and Mac OS X 10.4.8.

Excited???
What we're supposed to get excited about a game that is 2 years old and full priced when finally ported to Mac? I think not. Besides, if you want to play games get a console or even a lowly PeeCee since that's about all they're good for anyway.
