Onkyo launches 2.4GHz wireless headphones for iPod
Onkyo has unveiled a new set of wireless headphones meant for use in fourth-generation and newer docking iPods. The MHP-UW2 headphones rely on the 2.4GHz radio frequency to transmit signals between the adapter that plugs into the iPod and the headphones themselves. The headphones sport iPod controls that include play, pause, and track forward and back buttons. The transmitter also has a stereo input that allows the headphones to be used with other MP3 players or iPods without docks.
The headphones themselves use a pair of 1.2-inch drivers with a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz. The headphones are designed to isolate the wearer’s ears from outside noise. The headphones will cost the equivalent of about $198 when they hit store shelves on November 14th in Japan. [via Impress]

what happens
What happens when the connector changes?? I have a monster radio transmitter for my ipod that doesn't work with my iphone.
Clumsy
The transmitter plugged into the iPod looks awfully clumsy, it seems the thing canät fit any pockets after attaching the transmitter... Not convincing... :(
