Tidy Up 1.4.6 adds missing tag search, bug fixes

Hyperbolic Software has released the latest version of its Tidy Up! duplicate file search utility, meant for iTunes, iPod and iPhoto databases. The update enables searching for a missing song tag, and implements a few bug fixes to prevent the program from crashing. Tidy Up can be used to search for duplicate files, folders and packages, by criteria including type, creator, extension, date, visibility, tag, duration, bitrate and more.

Multiple searches can be run simultaneously, and the app protects against deletion of all copies by saving at least one on-disk. Copying or moving of files can be undone, and deleted files can pulled from the trash as long as it has not been emptied. The program organizes any items found to be possible duplicates, and allows the list to be exported to an HTML file.
