Memeo ships MemeoPhoto

Memeo has released MemeoPhoto, an iPhone app that allows users to share photos and videos directly with friends and family. The app works in tandem with Memeo's new Memeo Share Mac software; users create sharing circles through the latter program, and MemeoPhoto in turn uses the data to distribute photos directly from a phone, while receiving media from other members of the circle at the same time. Memeo Share is also available for Windows.

The software supports moving high-resolution images and video between users and platforms, instead of scaling to smaller sizes first. The Mac version of Memeo Share is integrated with iPhoto, allowing two-way exchange.

Memeo Share for the Mac requires Mac OS X 10.4.8 or higher. It is available with a free option of 1GB of online storage, or a $5-per-month option with unlimited transfer. MemeoPhoto is free, works with the iPhone or iPod touch, and is available now at the iTunes App Store.
