Freeverse releases Flick Fishing for iPhone, Touch

Freeverse has released its latest game for the iPhone and iPod touch, Flick Fishing. Users first flick their wrist to cast, then use a virtual reel on the touch-screen to bring fish in. In order to avoid breaking the line, larger fish must first be brought to exhaustion. The game features six different locations to fish, from streams to oceans, and 12 tournaments for competition. Nine different combinations of bait and tackle can be used to catch dozens of fish species.

Users can fish with friends in the Network and Hotseat modes, or send e-mails featuring a big catch by pressing the "Brag" button. Flick Fishing is available from the iTunes App Store for $1.
