TubeStick adds programming info via TubeGuide US

equinux has released TubeGuide US, a subscription-based TV listing service that displays digital and analog TV programming for the sake of its TubeStick Mac TV device. equinux has also added support for an independent Australian electronic program guide (EPG), IceTV. The new software allows users to access detailed information about upcoming TV shows, covering broadcast digital programming, digital unencrypted cable (Clear QAM) and analog cable TV. Information on the next few days of programming is updated automatically.

TubeGuide US also supports up to four separate locations, and displays programming in a grid of shows with their associated channels; recording a show requires a single click on the listing.

The new guide is part of v2.9 of the Tube, the software for the TubeStick. Existing and future buyers will get a free one-year subscription to TubeGuide US, with a subscription rate of $20 applying to subsequent years. The TubeStick is available for $130. Mac OS X 10.4 or higher is required, along with a minimum 1.6GHz processor, 512MB of RAM and an Internet connection for the Tube and TubeGuide US.
