iPhone apps: SoccerMate, G FORCE, TriCalc

  • SoccerMate ($3) allows users to keep track of shots, cards, time and even stop of time in an interface that represents a soccer field. The stats can be quickly reviewed during a match or after with friends, family or co-players. Users can view the complied data in a match summary which can then be emailed for storage on a computer or to share with others.

  • G FORCE ($3) turns an iPhone or iPod touch into a G-force meter that measures the forces a user experiences while driving. Users will be able to see the forces during turns, acceleration or breaking.

  • TriCalc ($2) lets users calculate time, distance and pace/speed before or after their workouts and races. Users can solve for either time, distance or pace by entering in other values that they do know. Times can be calculated for three different sports including running, biking and swimming, users may also choose to calculate total time for all three of these, to get a total race time.

  • TrackStats - NFL ($5) gives users access to football stats while on the go. With this app users can keep track of their fantasy football teams without being restricted to any specific fantasy football provider. Custom teams can be setup and then users can quickly track each of their stats to see their teams performance live.

  • Aqua Baller ($1) recreates the classic water tank toys where pushing buttons would cause a burst of air to push objects towards goals. The game features tilt sensitive physics that allows users to tilt their device to try and guide the balls into the nets. There are multiple game modes including free play, one minute drill and a three minute drill.
