Apple Australia deals hint at US Black Friday sales
Over on the other side of the world, down under in Australia, Apple has announced some of its one-day Thanksgiving holiday sales. The savings extend to many products and accessories offered via Apple's online store but the biggest are offered on the 13-inch MacBook, with Aussie buyers saving $161 AUD (about $104). The savings throughout fall at between 6 and 8 percent off regular prices and should be mirrored on the US website late tomorrow or early on Black Friday.
If the US gets similar discounts, it will go against a previous report that had Apple cutting prices more heavily than in years past. [via Engadget]

Australia...
...I know they're culturally lacking but trying to jump in on another culture-light society's heritage - tragic! Still, I suppose they have to make up for losing the Rugby League to NZ somehow!

No it isn't
"Over on the other side of the world, down under in Australia, Apple has announced some of its one-day Thanksgiving holiday sales." Er ... no, it hasn't. Here on the other side of the world, we don't have "Black Friday" and we don't have "Thanksgiving," a uniquely American event. Apple has announce a "One-day shopping event."You guys need to learn about the rest of the world.
