App Store hosts discounted apps for Black Friday
In addition to hardware sales through the Apple Store, more Black Friday deals are being promoted today through the iTunes App Store. A variety of applications are being offered at a discounted rate, such as the multi-client instant messaging app BeejiveIM, which is being sold for $10 until midnight Pacific time on November 30th, after which it will resume its normal $16 cost.
Some other price cuts include Pangea games like Enigmo, Cro-Mag Rally and Nanosaur 2, now at 99 cents. return7's CastCatcher Radio app, which recently made it past approval problems to hit v1.4.1, is also being offered at the 99 cent mark.
At least 50 more apps have been made completely free for Black Friday, such as iTimeSheetLite, which tracks working hours; Shopping Aid, used to create and share shopping lists; Reign of Swords Lite, a turn-based strategy game; One Tap Dial, which generates multiple speed-dial icons on the Home screen; and Daily Planet, which displays the time in every timezone around the world. The length of discounts may vary.
