Flick Fishing 1.2 update

Freeverse has published Flick Fishing 1.2, an update of its fishing game for the iPhone and iPod touch, in which players flick their wrist to cast a fishing line and reel it in. New features in this version include an unlockable night-fishing location, lures and spinners now working without floats, and various secret power-ups to help with larger fish. Four new fish types have been introduced, including brown trout, bream, wahoo and a special "named" fish.

Version 1.2 also offers two new modes: the eXtreme Fishing mode allows for the trapping of larger and craftier fish, while Quest has the player catching fish to fill an aquarium for an old lighthouse keeper. The Tournament mode has meanwhile been enhanced with three-, five- and 10-minute length options, plus "re-educated" AI.

Flick Fishing currently costs $1 at the App Store.
