Boingo iPhone app

Boingo has released an iPhone app that allows users to find Wi-Fi hotspots that are part of its global network. The company has partnered with Wi-Fi providers at airports, hotels, cafes and restaurants, amassing over 100,000 locations around the world. Subscribers pay a monthly fee for access to the partner hotspots, such as Starbucks or McDonalds, instead of purchasing connection time at each individual location.

The Boingo Locations Test app for the iPhone and iPod touch is available for free from iTunes. The mobile service allows unlimited Wi-Fi access in over 60 countries for $8 a month.
