iharmonix brand launches
iharmonix, a new brand launched by the California-based Paramount Wireless company, has introduced five new products encompassed in two lines along with its debut on Monday. In the company's flagship Platinum Series line are three new headphones, starting off with the i-Series headset meant for use with the iPhone 3G and BlackBerry handsets. It includes an in-line microphone to double as a headset for hands-free conversations. A multi-function button will answer or end calls and play and pause music.
The ev-Series headphones are targeted towards music listeners, offering an in-line volume control. The e-Series do not use any in-line controls at all to keep the price down. All three share the same 11mm (0.43-inch) drivers with neodymium magnets.
The Style FX Series includes two headphones, including the i-Series and e-Series. The former is, once again, meant for iPhone 3G and BlackBerry users while the e-Series will fit into iPods and MP3 players from other manufacturers. This means the same speaker design but the former getting an in-line microphone to allow for conversations, while the latter lets users custom-fit them to their ears thanks to the inclusion of three soft ear gels.
All five headphones are currently available, with the Platinum i-Series and ev-Series priced at nearly $60, the e-Series at $50, while the Style FX i-Series and e-Series cost about $30.
