Puzzle Quest comes to iPhone and iPod touch

TransGaming has released Puzzle Quest Chapter 1: Battle of Gruulkar, now available for the iPhone and iPod touch. The game is the first of three parts in a port of Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords, originally released for the PC and consoles. With the first chapter, players can expect over 20 hours of gameplay as they battle evil lords to save the land of Etheria.

The game combines RPG-style quests and head-to-head puzzle battles, which help earn the mana and experience needed to defeat Gruulkar, leader of the orcs. Each chapter in the port will allow players to carry over their characters, spells and high scores, eliminating the need to start over from scratch. Battle of Gruulkar is selling for $10 at the App Store.
