iPhone apps:Tiki Towers, Booty Blocks, Low Grav Racer

  • Tiki Towers ($1) allows players to travel between five tropical islands, eventually leading a tribe of monkeys to safety. To reach their final destination, gamers must build bridges and towers out of bamboo, coconuts and vines. By clearing all the levels, players will acquire the ceremonial masks of an ancient tribe and discover their mythical lost treasure.

  • Booty Blocks ($2) is a puzzle game that requires players to catch sinking blocks of crates, each full of pirates loot. Touch and drag gestures can be used to move blocks around, while a double-tap will destroy groups of blocks. Lining up combos will score players extra loot and higher scores.

  • Low Grav Racer ($6) is an arcade-style high-speed racing game set in the future. Players can choose from 12 unique tracks on different planets, or select between several ships and race classes. Power-ups, including missiles and mines, can be used to help win.

  • Solitaire City Deluxe ($8) is a collection of over 60 solitaire variants including Spider One, FreeCell, Klondike, Demon, Eliminator and Yukon. The games can be played in both landscape and portrait orientations, with automatic switching during game play by rotating the device. Solitaire City Deluxe also includes a timed scoring system and an online high-score table.

  • Saturday Night Fever: Dance! ($5) is a rhythm and music game where players use touch controls to keep with the beat of various disco songs. The game features some of the Disco Era's greatest hits including "YMCA", "Shake Your Groove Thing" and "Car Wash". The game also features multiple playable dancers and a multiplayer mode that allows several users to play on the same device.

Why do the links to all the apps take me to a TigerDirect site?
