LightBike for iPhone

Pankaku has released a new game for the iPhone and iPod touch, LightBike. Mimicking the movie Tron, players race a LightBike against opponents, leaving behind a solid wall of light behind as they travel. Players must avoid crashing into the walls, while turning them into a weapon where possible.

To control the LightBike, players simply tap the left side of the screen to turn left, the right side to turn right, and the center to speed up. The current version of the game provides only a single-player mode with easy difficulty; a later one will allow varied difficulties, and a multiplayer mode for two to four players using Wi-Fi, a split screen or both.

The initial version of LightBike can be downloaded from the App Store for free; pricing and a date have yet to be announced for the expanded game.
