PacketVideo has announced its mobile video application for the iPhone. The app enables the delivery of operator-branded TV and video services to the mobile platform, including local live channels and on-demand video. Operators will be able to offer the new iPhone app under their own brands on the iTunes App Store. PacketVideo's CORE software platform supports video streaming and playback capabilities along with middleware services for delivering live and on-demand content, including program guides.
