iLuv debuts new iPhone cases, earphones, cleaner

iLuv has added seven new products to its line of accessories for the iPhone, iPod and other media players. The items include two iPhone holsters with stands, two earphones, a cord manager, and two bottles of cleaner fluid for electronic devices. For the iPhone, the iCC76 provides a holster with a stand and the iCC75 offers a holster with a stand and a flip-top cover. Each model comes with a 180-degree swivel clip and a protective film for the screen.

EA previews Tiger Woods PGA Tour for iPhone

EA Mobile has previewed the upcoming Tiger Woods PGA Tour game for the iPhone and iPod touch, according to the iPod Observer. Users will be able to take the role of Woods, along with other golf professionals such as Annika Sorenstam, Vijay Singh and Retief Goosen. Game modes include practice, play now, challenge and tour, while users can also pick from Pebble Beach, St. Andrews and TPC Sawgrass courses. Extra cash can be earned by completing a variety of challenges throughout the game.

iPhone apps: GeoTweeter, SoundMeter, Autocue

GeoTweeter (free) creates a map pointing at users current GPS location, or any other desired location and attaches a URL onto the tail end of a tweet. Users can also let their readers know what mood they are in by choosing different icons to use as pins on their location. GeoTweeter also allows users to create a list of their favorite locations for futures tweets.

Mekentosj posts Papers 1.9, Papers for iPhone

Developer Mekentosj has posted two new versions of Papers, its research organization utility. The software is used to find, download, read and sort scientific papers. Search tools are incorporated for services such as NASA-ADS, JSTOR and Pubmed, and users also have access to features such ratings, smart folders and tabbed browsing.
