Scosche 3G shuffle Audio

Scosche today quickly claimed itself as the second company after Klipsch to offer in-ear headphones designed for the third-generation iPod shuffle. The IDR350M, IDR450M and IDR650M all have a new in-line remote that provides all the navigation, volume and VoiceOver features needed for the shuffle while also including a microphone for users of current-generation iPod classic, iPod nano and iPod touch models. They also have a purported enhanced dynamic range that allows deeper bass without hurting treble or the mid-range.

The accessory maker isn't specific about feature differences but says the three earbud pairs will ship in the spring at prices between $50 and $100.

Scosche additionally claims an extra first in the form of the first in-line remote adapter to let existing earphones work with the iPod. The short cable includes a simple pass-through for sound as well as the same remote as the new IDR-series earbuds. The product is still in the early stages and doesn't have a price or launch date.
