Scrabble connected

EA Mobile has announced its Scrabble game for the iPhone and iPod touch now connects to the Facebook Scrabble application. By offering a connected version of the game, users can play head-to-head against anyone accessing the game on either Facebook or the iPhone/iPod touch. Players also receive scores and statistics which displays their rank against other players, and a built-in chat function that enables users to talk with friends and opponents during the game.

Other features allow players to both view which users are online and to invite players from the iPhones address book, to create and login into a Facebook account through the app and iPhone/iPod touch, and to view detailed stats about the users Facebook games. Players can also access a “my games” list from either the PC or iPhone version of Scrabble.

Scrabble for the iPhone/iPod touch can be downloaded from the App Store and is priced at $5.

    Wow!

I bought Scrabble when it first came out @ a pricey $9.99. I liked the game, but this update made the purchase definitely worth it. The facebook integration to provide internet play is ingenious.
