SplashPhoto ($5) allows users to sync photos between their iPhone or iPod touch and desktop computer. Within the application users can organize photos into albums, upload or download images from Flickr and Picasa and set up a password to keep the photos private. To sync wireless with a desktop users will also need to have the free SplashPhoto Desktop photo manager.
MLB.com has launched the 2009 version of its At-Bat live baseball application for the iPhone and iPod touch. The app now offers MLB.com gameday audio, covering every regular- and post-season game live, with the option of listening to either home team or visiting team announcers. Existing features give users access to video previews and highlights, plus game summaries and up-to-date box scores.
