Gameloft has announced a new third-person action game for the iPhone, Terminator Salvation. Based on the movie, the title takes players through eight different levels as they assume the role of John Connor, and an unknown character named Marcus whose allegiance to humanity is questionable. Enemies include tanks, motorcycles, attack drones and T-800 terminators.
Weapons include the likes of shotguns, grenade launchers, chainguns, assault rifles, anti-tank guns and surge cannons. Players can also unlock content in the game by collecting microchips dropped by defeated machines. Each mission opens with a cutscene and briefing, detailing the enemies players will encounter and what their weaknesses are.
The game should be released in the first week of May, in advance of the film. Pricing has yet to be released, but is expected to be $8 or more.

As long as no babies are shaken or hurt...ANY kind of violence is perfectly acceptable!
