Smart Recorder, EmergRadio


  • RealSnowGlobe ($1) allows users to turn their iPhone or iPod touch into an a portable snow globe. The application features smooth and realistic physics that react to movements of the device including shaking, rotating and tilting. RealSnowGlobe also includes its own music tracks, a clock and calender, and a 15, 30 and 45 min auto sleep timer. Several different themed snow globes are available including Paris, Hawaii, and Venice.

  • Match 2 Catch ($1) is a matching game directed towards younger children, where the goal is to match animal sounds and pictures. In the earlier levels players are trying to match sounds with sounds or pictures with pictures, but in the last three levels the goal is to match the animal sound with a picture of the animal that makes it. The game also features a high score board allowing kids to compare their best scores with friends.

  • ABC Cursive Writing ($1) is a tool designed to help users improve their handwriting abilities. It allows users to practice both upper and lowercase characters and numbers, and also allows users to enter custom words and phrases to practice. The application also includes a Doodle board which can be used to draw pictures using four different colored pens.

  • Smart Recorder (free) allows users to make audio recordings with an iPhone or iPod touch. Users can add tags during recording that allow them to quickly jump back to significant points. Smart Recorder also can detect when there is no sounds and will pause the recording until sound resumes. Recorded audio can then by synced to a computer using either a WiFi sync, or syncing with the SyncDocs desktop application.

  • Emergency Radio ($1) is a tool for listening to live Police, Fire, EMS and other emergency frequencies. Users can tune into stations from the New York Fire Department, Los Angeles Police Department and more. Emergency Radio also features a "Nearby" function that can filter the list of frequencies by their location. The application also allows users to build a list of favorite frequencies for quick access.
