iPhone apps: Squashem, Hit Music, AutoSpeed

Adjust Photo, Balloon Head

  • Squashem ($2) is a game where the players goal is to chase and squash 10 runners with a large ball. Players control the ball by tilting their iPhone or iPod touch and can choose from 10 different ball models including a soccer ball. The game includes six different time based levels and both hard and easy game modes.

  • Hit Music ($1) provides information on the top music in more than 20 countries around the world. Users can browse the top 50 singles, albums and new releases for countries including the US, Spain, Sweden and Norway. The application also provides access to videos related to each piece of music in the lists allowing users to find live performances of the track they may not have seen before.

  • AutoSpeed ($2) is a tool that can help remind users when they may be driving too fast. The application uses the iPhone's built in GPS to calculate speed and provides an audible warning when a user set speed is reached. The application displays the users current speed along with the total distance traveled and the time spent traveling. AutoSpeed also allows users to choose whether to track this data using miles or kilometers.

  • Adjust Photo Pro ($6) is a tool for making adjustments to photos stored on an iPhone or iPod touch. Some of the adjustments the application can make include, saturation, luminosity, temperature and color balance. The application also allows users to share photos wirelessly though a web browser running on a Mac or PC. In the case that a users has a large database, Adjust Photo Pro incorporates folder support allowing users to organize their images.

  • Balloon Headed Boy ($4) is a game for the iPhone and iPod touch in which players must guide their character back to his birthday party. The main character was all set to attend his birthday party when a storm blew through Balloon Town scattering its inhabitants throughout the land. The game includes more than 30 levels in which players must make their way through various obstacles including enemy frogs. Players can collect flowers along their adventure that will inflate their head allowing them to fly and float on water.
