Clarion FZ409 head unit

Clarion has recently released its new FZ409 automotive head unit that sports an optical touch sensor instead of traditional buttons for control. It can play back MP3, WMA and AAC formats while displaying ID3 Tags. Users can also plug in their personal digital audio players thanks to a rear-mounted 3.5mm auxiliary input or a USB audio connection for connecting iPods.

There are integrated low- and high-pass filters, along with a 50W x 4 amplifier. A remote control ships with the FZ409. Satellite radio can be hooked up via a separate receiver, while another adapter lets users integrate video-capable iPods to an external monitor. Users can custom-tailor the sound of the FZ409 via its OEL display and Clarion's Beat EQ equalizer.

Currently available, the FZ409 carries a retail price of $230. [via Akihabara]

It is NOT "currently available." I've had this unit on order from Amazon for at least a month now. Amazon knows no expected ship date, nor does Crutchfield. If I am mistaken, and it is "currently available," where can I buy it?
