Chill Pill speakers ship

Koyono has released the latest addition to its Apple accessory line, the Chill Pill. The device, used with an iPod, iPhone, or notebook, is made of two speakers that magnetically connect in order to reduce size for storage. The Chill Pill uses a rechargeable internal battery and can be used for up to 8 hours.

The accessory incorporates a retractable cord that connects the two speakers, minimizing the amount of loose cord surrounding the device when it is in use. The top of the Chill Pill can be opened and extended to produce more bass and a louder sound. The speakers can be recharged using an included USB cord.

The Chill Pill is available from the Koyono online store for $40.

I bought the same style speakers at Office Depot in a choice of three colors months ago and they are called Tweakers. I got them on sale for $20. iHome also markets the same thing and they are available at the Apple Store.
