Educate for iPhone

iKonstrukt has announced Educate, an app for the iPhone and iPod touch designed to support teachers. The software provides lesson planning and student tracking, as well as tools for strategizing and e-learning. Users can also connect to the company’s Facebook group to discuss ideas and suggest features. Using the app's weekly planner, teachers can keep a timetable and schedule individual lessons.

Pre-made scales can be used to track attendance or performance, and the e-learning component allows users to post real-time content to a Moodle learning space. E-learning also offers access to functions such as a stopwatch, a voice recorder and a camera with tagging support. Information saved to a handheld can be exported to a Mac, PC or learning management system. Educate is available from the App Store for $7.
