1Password 2.0 update

Agile Web Solutions has released an update to its password management application for the iPhone and iPod touch, 1Password 2.0. The software allows users to store and organize multiple passwords, and integrates with a web browser so that users only have to enter a password once. Version 2.0 offers several new features, including Wi-Fi sync with a Mac, viewing and e-mailing sync history, and the editing of wallet items.

Wi-Fi sync allows users to coordinate wallet items. Also present in v2.0 are bugfixes, new online help and feedback options, and a rebuilt database structure meant to improve performance and security. Interface adjustments target aspects like the bottom tab bar, which is now hidden when displaying the item detail view.

The upgrade is available as a free download, and requires iPhone 2.2.1 firmware as well Mac OS X 10.4. 1Password for the Mac is priced at $40 in a single-user license or $60 in a five-user family pack.

Wi-fi sync isn't new to 2.0, it's just been updated.
