iPhone apps: Invoice Maker, Bal-loon, HDR Camera

  • Invoice Maker ($1) can be used to create invoice directly on an iPhone or iPod touch. The application includes fields for entering personal data such as address, email, and phone number for both the client and the business. Users can build a database of products within the software and include information like SKU, description and price. When creating an invoice these items can be selected from a scroll menu and added. Final numbers are calculated automatically and options for entering tax and shipping costs are also included.

  • Bal-loon ($1) simulates the action of blowing up a ballon. Users blow into the microphone on their iPhone and the balloon on the screen then begins to inflate. As users continue to blow the balloon will keep growing in size until it bursts. The application records how long it takes a user to pop the balloon and keeps a scoreboard of the quickest times. Bal-loon features 6 different balloon shapes including regular, bat, cyclops, monster, penguin and pig.

  • HDR Camera ($2) provides users with six different filters for enhancing photos. High Dynamic Range imaging is a technique that can create a greater range between light and dark areas of an image. The six filters include: HDR Classic, HDR Color Plus, HDR Night Mode, Bloom, More Color, and More Contrast. The software can also combine multiple filters to create more effects.

  • Put Things Off ($3) is a tool for organizing tasks that need to be completed. Users can enter their tasks and then organize them into items that need to be completed today and items that can be put off for now. As tasks are finished they can then be marked as done and moved into a done folder. Users are also reminded of items that have been put off automatically after a set number of days.

  • Amazing Sports Facts ($1) contains a database of astounding, weird, and interesting sports facts. The application includes over 1000 facts and developers plan to continually grow this number with future updates. Users can scroll through the list of facts or use the search feature to find specific ones.
